Education
In
1969, Betty Crocker, best known as the dry goods, domestic diva,
and Donald Judd, the minimalist sculptor, had an affair. Their
brief but significant union produced a child. That child is me.
As any offspring, I have absorbed certain characteristics from
my parents and these traits have begun to manifest themselves
in my artwork. Domestic imagery and clean, simple organization
are distinctive to my work. The use of icons and organization
are merely tools within a visual vocabulary. These icons become
the nouns, verbs, and adjectives of a visual language that speaks
to the human condition minus the human figure.
